We opened up for Pearl Jam and it was a huge crowd. it was ones of the biggest crowds I ever played for. These was well over 100000 people in this audience. You just can’t see the rest in the pictures but there was well over a million people in attendance that day.

May 05, 2008 – Barack Obama Rally – Indianapolis, IN Bill Dickens was wisked away by jet hours before the MEGA-RALLY for Barack Obama in Indianapolis to accompany Stevie Wonder. Mr Wonder asked his management team to “Get me that 7 string bass player”.
Cool NAMM surprise! To the thrill of throngs of onlookers, Stevie Wonder showed up during Bill Dickens’ scheduled booth appearance at X2 and sang a spontaneous song with the acclaimed bassist. Both were using X2 wireless systems during their jam.
Bill has agreed to play at the NAMM BassBash with a host of other bass celebrities on Friday January 18th. Please check back for more details later this week.
